PRELUDE

It was in Le Havre, the city of Little Bob story, that I had my first musical experiences. Anyone who knew the decade 1970-80 could only be impressed by the emergence of groups, all more original than each other. In this area, the Anglo-Saxons had a head start and my tastes led me towards the Beatles, Genesis, Supertramp or Yes, while remaining attentive to other styles of music.
There were a few of us who were passionate about music, with a very strong desire to take part in the adventure. Soon, the merry drills Bébert, Banane, Nono and Photon (BBN&P for short) were improvising in the back of a garage or in a cellar with makeshift instruments, an old piano out of tune, a zinc tub as a bass drum and a guitar. spanish electrified using a record player.

OREJONA

Impressed by the rhythm section of rock bands, I am very attracted to the bass guitar. A little will and some good meetings later, it is the birth in 1974-75 of the group Oréjona around a group of friends gathered for the occasion, with its aficionados to share their tribulations. The progressive rock style of the compositions on a background of mystical texts recall the influence of groups like Caravan or Ange by the Descamps brothers. A few concerts in Le Havre, a visit to Paris (Tremplin du Golf Drouot) and a summer tour in the Alps, rich in twists and turns, are some of the highlights I experienced with Oréjona.

CECILE

In the early 1980s, I joined Fécamp's band, which was not yet called Cecile, for a new adventure: a solid rhythm (2 guitars, a bass and a drummer) in support of the texts, melodies and voices. By the sea, this small town is home to bands very influenced by the music of the west coast of the United States (Doobie Brothers, Eagles, Crosby, Still, Nash & Young ..) Our compositions are affected with music halfway between California and Quebec bands. The concerts come to break our repertoire and we record in 1984 a 45t with two titles: "Tête de linotte" and "Simply" (Studios Frémontel de Conches). The release of the vinyl is accompanied by a TV clip in the show "Rocking chair" at FR3.
